Who We Are

GPIC Insurance Company is athe second federally regulated property and casualty insurance company in Canada solely focused on marketing and underwriting pet health insurance. We are wholly owned by Trupanion, Inc., which though its subsidiaries provides a provider of pet health insurance in Canada, the United States, Australia and certainin some European countries.

GPIC Insurance Company received its Letter Patent on October 21, 2022, and its Order to Commence Business on XXXXXX. Presently GPIC is provincially licenses in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, New Brunswick, and the Yukon, we expect to receive the rest of our provincial and territorial licenses before the end of 2023.
